He has managed data-oriented projects for research groups, Fortune 500 companies, and international NGOs. He works at the intersection of communities and technology to make data accessible and usable for all. Joe is experienced at managing projects across disciplines and cultures to educate about technology and advance practical and ethical uses of data. He has a track record of identifying and improving organizational processes, especially around communication and data. Joe jumps between developing core Dat tools and prototypes, writing blog posts on nonprofit business practices, and improving team and open source management processes.
