I am a developer, product manager, researcher, and open data enthusiast. I work with scientists, local governments, international communities, and open source developers to enable local communities to solve problems with a global impact.
Currently, I am developer with the Dat project building decentralized data sharing infrastructure for researchers, civic institutions, and journalists. Previously, with the Santa Fe Institute, I organized an effort to transform the data collection practices of Slum/Shack Dwellers International. Through this work, slum communities worldwide are self-collecting census data to help solve local development problems and inform global knowledge through research.
